Monkey toy from an old children's scarf

Hello, dear visitors. In our wardrobe, we somehow found an old children's scarf, which began to disperse at the seams, and we had the thought of throwing it away. But it didn't work out, but instead we sewed up some good things: a small bag for storing small items, a toy for a cat and a toy red monkey.

Monkey seems to us the most attractive:

For work we needed: - Paper and pencil; - Scissors, threads of red color and needle; - Artificial eyes for toys or beads; - Thick wire; - A small piece of white plastic; - Filling (cotton); - White fabric; - One brown bead; - Old children's scarf in red. Starting work,we took a scarf and divided it into four parts: we decided to sew a monkey out of the first two parts, make a small bag for storing small items from the third; The fourth part consists of two pompons that were sewn to the tips of the scarf. One of them we used to make a cat's toy. Here is a simple bag:

Sew it together is not at all difficult, it It consists of only two pieces of rectangular fabric connected by seams. From a pomponch we get a shaggy toy for a cat:

Making two these things we are taken for made The toys are monkeys. First we take one of the pieces of fabric set aside for its manufacture:

Having taken a needle with a thread, we sew the upper side of this piece:

Next we take a rectangular piece of white fabric and fold it in two, then draw it with a pencil on one of its the sides of the future head her toys:
According to the drawing, sew stitches, and then cut out the fabric with a small section of the allowance:

After that we turn the figure out of seamy side and prepare small elements for drawing up the muzzle (artificial eyes, bead as nose and ears from a small piece of plastic):

We glue artificial eyes, sew the ears with beads and sew a mouth with a red thread, and then we cut out two figures from another scarf from giving the head a toy similarity with a monkey. Here are some:

We sew these figures along the edges of the muzzle and to the back of the toy's head, then fill the resulting head with the torso and sew them to each other: Monkey from a scarf Now we cut out four pieces of fabric,to make back and front feet for a toy:

We should sew each of the pieces in their longitudinal sides, and then turn them inside out and fill cotton wool In order to make a twisted tail, we need a thick wire:

When sewing tail we had a problem with the fact that the long fabric is not left. Therefore, we decided to take three short parts and stitch them together:

First we sew their cross sections:

And then the longitudinal and upper sides:

After that, turning out the finished things from the wrong side, m We first decided to fill each of them with cotton, using tweezers for convenience:

But then we decided that the tail looks worse (too thick ).Without wool it looks better:

Now we have to sew the feet and tail to the toy, cutting through small holes to fit inside the stock (extra fabric) . So that the tail wire goes deeper inside the toy and the resulting tail holds better, we removed a part of its fabric and then sewn it:

Sewing tail and paws, we made some additional seams higher and (or) lower so that they would better keep in one position they set (they did not stick out). After that, everything, our toy is ready:

This toy can well decorate the room, as well as the Red (Fiery) Monkey sign is considered the mistress of 2016.
Best regards, Vorobiev Dinar.
