Trailer for the Greatest Showman musical with Hugh Jackman released

Musicals with the participation of Hugh Jackman - a separate kind of pleasure (remember at least the "Les Miserables"). Hugh has a special relationship with singing and dancing: if you suddenly did not know, he is the only performer in the history of Broadway who has received all the major theater awards for one season - this is Tony, the Drama Desk, and the Outer Critics Circle (the “The triple crown of Broadway”), and even the Fred Astaire Prize. Now imagine "Moulin Rouge" in which Jackman would play the main role ... and get a grandiose colorful musical from the creators of the Oscar-winning "La La Lenda": they removed the biographical picture of American impresario Phineas Taylor Barnum, the founder of the most popular vagrant circus XIX century.

During his lifetime, Barnum received the title “King of puff, or merry cheating,” and even a special term hambug was coined for his work, roughly speaking of confusing the concepts of quackery, trickery and advertising. The legendary entrepreneur really became the pioneer of many advertising techniques: he had no equal in talent to inflate public interest. He created the most visited American museum of rarities in New York and tirelessly selected freaks of all stripes and species to his team, inventing new tricks for the audience eager for impressions. Jackman reincarnated perfectly into the cheerful resourceful magician, which is not surprising, since he was not the first to play the illusionist: he had already played the role of Robert Enger in the film “Prestige” by Christopher Nolan. In addition to Jackman, the film starred Zac Efron, Michelle Williams and Rebecca Ferguson. We are waiting for the premiere on January 4, 2018, but for now watch the trailer!
