Sad News, Michael Bublé makes a HEARTBREAKING confession about His Son Noah.
Michael Bublé Breaks Down Over Son During 'Carpool Karaoke'
Things got emotional on Friday's installment of "Carpool Karaoke" with singer Michael Bublé, who opened up toLate Late Showhost James Corden about his son's cancer battle.
James and Michael belted out some of the crooner's biggest hits like "Haven't Met You Yet" and "It's a Beautiful Day." They even got James' dad, Malcolm, in the car to show off his saxophone skills. But the mood turned somber after James brought up Michael's now 5-year-old son Noah, who was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2019 at the age of three (he is thankfully doing well now).
"You've had an extremely tough couple of years," James said. "What you've gone through in the last few years ... is every parent's worst nightmare."
"It's so hard to acknowledge it because it's so painful to talk about. But we got the diagnosis and that was it man, my whole life ended," Michael responded.
He then went on to explain that he and his wife actress Luisana Lopilato were told that Noah's diagnosis "was not good" and told James again that "it's too hard to talk about."
Michael managed to get through his emotions and revealed that his whole family moved to L.A. and stayed at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, where Noah was being treated. (Michael and Luisana also have son Elias, born in January 2019, and daughter Vida, born July 2019.)
The episode ends with Michael's plea to everyone at home to make a donation to Stand Up to Cancer, an organization that raises funds for cancer research. It sounds so weird ... please sitting on your couch at home — call. Just do it. There's nothing better in the whole world ... when you give that way, the universe gives right back to you. And there's hope and treatments and medicines that haven't been discovered yet but will be discovered because of you. You think you're one little person who can't change, but all of us can completely make that huge difference. If you do it, and you save just one little person, that's it. That's what life is.
