How to get rid of scale in the kettle at home
You will need
- Lemon acid;
- Pure water.
Dial a full kettle of clean water. It can be water from a store or water filtered by a household filter. The main thing that the water was not hard. If you use home filters, it is advisable to put new filters before the cleaning procedure of the kettle.
So after you have poured water into the kettle, you need to add 1-2 teaspoons of citric acid to the water and stir. In some sources, it is recommended to add 1-2 tablespoons, but in my experience it is enough and a teaspoon.
Boil the kettle in the usual way. If it is an electric kettle, put it on a stand and turn it on; if it is an ordinary kettle, put it on the stove and light a fire. Wait until the water in the kettle boils. The kettle will turn off automatically.
Pour water with acid into the sink or toilet. The kettle is usually clean after the first boiling, however, if you have heavy scale pollution, you can repeat the procedure or wash the kettle with a rag.
Again, type in the kettle of pure water and boil without acid. Drain water. The kettle is ready for operation.
